Adductor Longus

O: Body of pubis, inferior to pubic crest

I: Middle 1/3 of linea aspera

A: Adducts thigh

INN: Anterior branch of obturator nerve (L2-4)

Adductor Brevis

O: Body of inferior ramus of pubis (deep to add. longus)

I: Pectineal line and proximal part of linea aspera

A: Adducts thigh, may aid in hip flexion

INN: Anterior branch of obturator nerve (L2-4)

Adductor Magnus

O: Adductor part - inferior ramus of pubis, ramus of ischium

Hamstring part - ischial tuberosity

I: Adductor part - gluteal tuberosity, linea aspera, medial supracondylar line

Hamstring part - adductor tubercle of femur

A: Both - adducts thigh

Adductor part - flexes thigh

Hamstring part - extends thigh

INN: Posterior branch of obturator nerve (L2-4) and tibial nerve (L4-S2)

Gracillis

O: Body and inferior ramus of the pubis

I: Superior part of medial surface of tibia (PES ANSERINUS)

A: Adducts thigh, aids in flexion, and medial rotation @ knee

INN: Anterior branch of obturator nerve (L2-4)

Obturator Externus

O: Margins of the obturator foramen and membrane

I: Trochanteric fossa of femur

A: External rotation of thigh

INN: Obturator nerve (L2-4)
