Energy
The ability to do work; effects observed during transfer or transformation.
Kinetic Energy (KE)
Energy related to motion, calculated as KE = 1/2mv².
Potential Energy (PE)
Energy stored due to an object's position or shape, recoverable as kinetic energy.
Conservation of Energy
The principle that total energy remains constant in a closed system; D(PE + KE) = 0.
Work (W)
The product of force exerted on an object and the distance moved in the direction of the force; W = F × d.
Fundamental Forces
The four basic forces in nature: gravitational, electromagnetic, weak nuclear, and strong nuclear.
Electric Field
A region around a charged particle where it exerts a force on other charges.
Electric Potential Energy
Energy needed to move a charge against an electric field, stored within that field.
Capacitance
The ability of a system to store electrical charge, measured in Farads (F).
Bioelectricity
The electric phenomena in biological systems, crucial for nerve conduction, muscle contraction, and other life processes.
