Korsakoff's Syndrome
Lack of thiamine (Vitamin B1) in the brain. Causes amnesia & tendency for false memories, often seen in chronic alcoholism.
Ménière's Disease
Disorder of the inner ear affecting hearing & balance. Linked to excess lymph fluid in the lymphatic systems of one or both ears.
Noonan Syndrome
Genetic disorder leading to congenital heart defect. Similar physical traits as those c Turner's syndrome.
De Quervain Syndrome
Inflammation of the tendons on the back of the wrist. Causes soreness & difficulty gripping.
Rett Syndrome
Childhood developmental disorder almost exclusively in girls. Causes hand-wringing movements & loss of speech.

Usher Syndrome
Genetic disorder that is a leading cause of deaf & blindness. Associated c a defective inner ear & degeneration of retinal cells.
Wilson's Disease
Chronic disease in which copper accumulates in the brain, liver & cornea. Results in a brownish ring around the iris.
Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
Disorder where increased levels of gastrin are produced. Causes the stomach to produce excess HCL
