Example: Looking at others during a test and assuming their answer is correct.
Normative Social Influence
Conforming because you want to fit in or be accepted by a group.
Example: Dressing a certain way to match your friends.
Social Norm
The unwritten rules about how people are expected to behave in a group or society.
Example: Saying “thank you” or not talking loudly in class.
