Baptism - person is freed from original sin and becomes a son/ daughter of god, receiving the strength from god to continue Jesus mission
Eucharist - recieving the real presence of Christ in a spiritual way and uniting the catholic community though mass
Anointing of the sick - gives strength in sickness and suffering and prepares them for death.
Matrimony - two people give themself permanently and exclusively to each other and should be open to procreation and making new life

structured public worship where humans take part in the work of god which helps catholics to grow in holiness
Catholics expected to attend mass weekly
Began at the last supper - “do this in remembrance of me“
