Why? Andromache has just begged her husband (hector) to stay with her and their child and not fight, since she has no family (achilles killed them all) and their child will be an orphan. This is when Hector come into troy to get the women to make a sacrifice to athena so they can win.
Seer of evil: never yet have you told me a good thing. Always the evil things are dear to your heart to prophesy, but nothing excellent have you said nor ever accomplished.

Why? Kalchas has just explained that the gods' punishment is b/c Agamemnon will not give Chriseis back to her dad; and he has to give her back and lead a hetacomb to the dad to get everything to stop.
