TSH Level
Screening tool for the thyroid.
Normal TSH Range
0.5-5.0.
Hyperthyroidism
Disorder showing low TSH and high T3 and T4 levels.
Hypothyroidism
Disorder showing high TSH and low T3 and T4 levels.
Levothyroxine (Synthroid)
Medication used to treat hypothyroidism.
Normal GFR Value
Greater than 90.
GFR < 15
Indicates need to start dialysis.
Creatinine
A waste product in the blood that rises when kidney function decreases.
Hypokalemia
Condition caused by Lasix due to rapid fluid loss.
