A national federation of labor unions founded in Columbus, Ohio, in December 1886 by an alliance of craft unions.
Industrial Workers of the World (IWW)
Established in 1905. They organized unskilled factory workers, farm workers, miners and loggers, immigrants, minorities, women, and unemployed. Used strikes to achieve their goals.
