Soprano

Highest female voice part

Alto

Lowest female voice part

Tenor

Highest male voice part

Baritone

Middle range male voice part

Bass

Lowest male voice part

Counter Tenor

A male singer with a changed voice that sings mainly in their falsetto

Falsetto

False voice, associated with the male singing voice

Head Voice

Similar to falsetto, but is associated with the female voice

Chest Voice

Your normal speaking voice range

Voice Crack

Happens to everyone but is more frequent in developing male voice

Highlights 5 lines & 4 spaces of the infinite staff

Ledger Line

Indicates a note above or below the usual musical staff

Rhythm

The duration of notes and rests

Dot

Signals that a note is held for ½ more than the normal length
