Speed Square

Has a round top, a flat tip, used for compressing things together, doesn't self drive(needs a pre-made hole), and you can roll things over it.
Machine bolt

Nut
Has a hexagonal shape used for fastening onto bolts. This combined with a washer prevents the screw or bolt from becoming loose.
Duct Tape
a long, thin strip of very strong, sticky material that is sold in a roll and is often used for covering holes or other repair jobs. Doesn't work while wet, has very sticky residue.
Gaffer Tape
A tape better than duct tape in every way: very sticky, works while wet, doesn't leave residue, best for taping things down, paintable, can be used on clothes, more bendy and movable, fine under heat and dry elements. However, it's more expensive.

Zip ties
Also called cable ties; used like a belt to secure ducting, and in many other fastening applications
Ratchet Strap & Ratchet Mechanism
Used to tie things together and to hold things down, but NOT used for overhead hanging. Ratchet straps are ONLY the nylon part, and the ratchet mechanism is the thing that tightens it together.
Bungee Cord
Used for holding something down, can be hooked and unhooked very easily
