Minister
The person who can confer the sacrament.
Ritual
A meaningful or symbolic action that marks special transitions and honors significant moments.
Symbol
An object, action, or gesture that represents a deeper reality.
Liturgy
A public act of worship by a community, including forms such as the Mass and Sacraments.
Creed
A summary statement of beliefs, a profession of faith.
Nicene Creed
Addresses the nature of God, Jesus, the Holy Trinity, and the Church as Universal.
Consubstantial
Of the same substance or essence.
Begotten
To bring a child into the world.
Trinity
The state of being Three; the Trinity is One, with distinct Divine persons existing relative to one another.
God the Father
First Person of the Trinity, Source of life and creation.
God the Son
Second Person of the Trinity, became man as Jesus, the Savior.
God the Holy Spirit
Third Person of the Trinity, inspires, guides, and makes us Holy.
