An isotonic solution is a solution that has the same osmotic pressure as plasma.
What is an hypertonic solution?
A hypertonic solution is a solution that has the higher osmotic pressure than plasma, therefore water will be pushed out of the cell into the blood vessel.
What is an hypotonic solution?
A hypotonic solution is a solution that has the lower osmotic pressure than plasma, therefore water will be pushed into the cell, and out of the blood vessel.
