2016 BMA went on strike fro junior doctors pay rise- and strikes about their contract.

Sowdrop campaign- after dunblane massacre accrued x>700,000 signitures. Govt passed first firearms act 97- banning private ownership of handguns.

XR wanted net zero by 2025- did not happen, JSO wanted no more use of oil in the UK- hasn’t happened

Law or policy change, raising awareness, acheving aims.

David Cameron and greensill- tries to get into CCFF to let the company issue loans government insured

2020 2 % tax on digital sales- despite big companies such as Amazon attempting to lobby against it

When a politican becomes a businessmen or vise versa and has an understanding of how things work, as well as connection to the other side. E.g Nick Clegg now global affairs president facebook connnections can have legislation to advantage Facebook
