Sacred text
A sacred text is sacred writing that has great importance for a community of faith. Scared texts are texts that religious traditions consider to be foundational or central to the practice of their beliefs. They are also thought to be authoritative and to reveal the word of the God/ the Divine/ the Transcendent.
Development
Development means the process of change, or an event that marks a new step in a process of bringing something together.
Qur'an
The Qur'an is the sacred text for Muslims. Muslims believe that the Qur'an is the word of Allah. The word Qur'an means to recite
Document of faith
A document that gives significance and meaning.

The 114 chapters of the Qur'an
Hafiz
A person who can recite the whole Qur'an is known as the Hafiz.
Wudu
Muslims perform a type of cleansing or purification called wudu. This involves washing their hands, face, arms and feet with water.
Imam
The person who leads worship within the mosque or community.
