Development
A process through which the potentialities of an object or organism are released, moving towards a complete or full-fledged form.
Underdevelopment
A term used to describe regions or countries considered economically and socially backward compared to developed nations.
Hegemony
Dominance of one group over others, often used in the context of political and cultural control.
Euphemism
A mild or indirect word or expression substituted for one considered to be too harsh or blunt.
Colonialism
