Cosecant
The reciprocal of sine; hypotenuse over opposite.
Secant
The reciprocal of cosine; hypotenuse over adjacent.
Cotangent
Reciprocal of tangent; adjacent over opposite.
Coterminal angles
Two different rotations that end up in the same place. (Ex. -90 degrees and 270 degrees)
How to get a coterminal angle in the easiest way
Add or subtract 360 degrees (2 pi) from an angle measurement.
Features of quadrant 1
0 to 90 degrees, 0 to pi/2, all trig functions lead to a positive value.
Quadrant 2 features
90 to 180 degrees, pi/2 to pi, ONLY sine is positive.
Quadrant 3 features
180 to 270 degrees, pi to 3pi/2, ONLY tangent is positive.
Quadrant 4 features
270 to 360 degrees, 3pi/2 to 0, ONLY cosine is positive.
