Explain the importance of signs and symbols in the liturgy
Jesus instituted the church and the sacraments so that salvation is attainable so following his example, the Church instituted signs in the liturgy which allows us to understand the realities signified through them. To participate in the holy Qurbana, we must understand the meaning of signs and symbols to give due important to the realities indicated through them

The other sacraments and all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented towards it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.
