False Cause

Assuming that because two things happened, the first one caused the second one.

Bandwagon

tries to persuade the reader to do, think, or buy something because it is popular or everyone is doing it

Slippery Slope

an idea or course of action which will lead to something unacceptable, wrong, or disastrous

circular reasoning

a fallacy in which the writer repeats the claim as a way to provide evidence

False Dilemma

A fallacy of oversimplification that offers a limited number of options (usually two) when in fact more options are available.
