Yes however there were some problems
Problems with x ray
couldn’t detect all objects in the body. Some items, such as clothing went unnoticed until doctors looked for them during operations
A wounded soldier had to remain still for several minutes for an x ray to occur
tubes in x ray were fragile and overheated quickly- meaning x ray machines could only be used for an hour at a time
