Military Courtesy

• is the wholesome relationship between juniors and seniors, between young and old, and with all persons.

• it is also written, officially prescribed code of conduct of members of the military of the military establishment

Military Discipline

• state of order and obedience existing within a comnand

• it demands habitual but reasoned obedience that preserves initiative and functions unfalteringly even in the absence of a commander

• instilling a sense of confidenxe and responsibility

Rank

provides a system of leadership that indicates a soldier’s level of expertise, responsibility, senioriy, and authority

Insignia

• usually seen on a military personnel’s uniform, these denote rank and include various emblems including chevrons, triangles, suns, or stars

Commissioned officers

• refer to personnel in the Armed Forces of the Philippines who recieved a commission

• commission refers to a written order giving a person rank as an officer

Enlisted personnel

• refer to members of the AFP below the commissioned officers with the rank of Private up to First Chief Master Sergeant or their equivalent in the other services

Non-commissioned officers (NCO)

refer to enlisted personnel with the rank of Sergeant to First Chief Master Sergeant or their equivalent in the other services
