Some people have benefited from modern communications technology, but other people have not benefited from it. 

To what extent do you agree or disagree? 

Opinions differ on whether benefits brought by advanced communications technology are universal or not. Despite a number of special cases, I hold the belief that there are thousands of people who have been deriving advantages from such technology.

It is apparent that these technological innovations have not reached certain groups of individuals. Evidence of this can be seen in some underdeveloped regions, particularly in several African countries where not all people can afford mobile phones or even Internet subscriptions. This is due to the fact that these people barely earn enough to cover their basic living expenses.

Bằng chứng về điều này có thể thấy ở một số vùng kém phát triển, đặc biệt là ở một số quốc gia châu Phi, nơi không phải tất cả mọi người đều có thể mua điện thoại di động hoặc thậm chí là đăng ký Internet. Điều này là do thực tế là những người này hầu như không kiếm đủ tiền để trang trải các chi phí sinh hoạt cơ bản của họ.

 I think that the situation, however, is likely to change since governments and organizations are making serious investments in telecommunication. For example, various companies not only attempt to establish worldwide networks but also provide mobile devices at more affordable prices, making them accessible to those with low income.

 I think that the situation, however, is likely to change since governments and organizations are making serious investments in telecommunication.
