Adroit

Analogous
similar but not identical; comparable in certain respects.
Avarice
extreme greed for wealth; insatiable desire for gain.
Bog
a marsh or swamp; wet, muddy ground that may be hard to move through; to cause to become stuck in mud.
Compliant
yielding to requests or desires; conforming to requirements.
Destitute
extremely poor; lacking the basic necessities of life.
Deterrent
something that discourages or prevents something from happening; also able or intended to deter.
Dupe
to deceive or trick; a person who is easily deceived.
Encumbrance
a burden or impediment; something that hinders progress.
Eulogy
an expression of praise, typically for someone who has died.
Folly
foolishness; lack of good sense, understanding, or foresight.
Insolence
rude or insulting behavior or conduct; contemptuous treatment.
