What is the equation for momentum and units
Momentum = mass x velocity
P = m x v
Momentum (Kgm/s)
Mass = kg
Velocity = m/s
What is the conservation of momentum principle
In a closed system the total momentum before event is the exact same as the total momentum after event
In other words The total momentum before a collision is equal to_ the total momentum after the collision.
Extra note
Positive momentum going to right
Negative momentum going to left
Momentum before event may be. 0 in these cases the total momentum after event must be 0

Equation for momentum
Momentum = mass x velocity
is momentum a scaler or vector quantity
Vector quantity has both magnitude and direction
