Nucleotide structure
Phosphate group (‘5), Deoxyribose (Sugar), Nitrogenous base (Adenine, Thymine, Cytosine, Guanine). For RNA it is the same, but with ribose instead and Uracil instead of Thymine. Covalent bonds hold the phosphate group and sugar together, while hydrogen bonds hold the nitrogenous bases together.

Complementary structure.
A bonds with T, or U for RNA, and C bonds with G.
Anti-parallel
The connect strand (like a zipper) is a mirrored flipped version of the original strand. (3’ and 5’ opposite).
