- the more family members the more oppunites of resources. except in the case of families with many young dependants

• related to the relationships around you and how you are able to form them.

• Adult family members model behaviours that dependants adopt

• Culture will also influence who you are.

• Certain family structures may place different values and ideals on these factors, which will influence sense of identity. 

How does the adequate standard of living need influence family stuctures overall?

• Having an adequate standard of living (including having food, shelter and clothing) is important to everyone.

• The earning power/the stablity of an adults earning power useally dicates the familyes standard of living

How does the employment need influence family stuctures overall?

• family stuctures may infulence work hour patterns

• that earning power and opportunities for employment come from an individual’s skills and abilities; family structure will not influence this.
