Price Revolution

The influx of New World goods and silver had a dramatic impact on Europe:

the __Price Revolution__–-a drastic increase in goods, money, and prices

The Enclosure Movement

During this time, land owners used to make peasants work for them by making them grow and harvest crops for the land owners, but once the price rev started the land owners closed off their land from the peasants to farm for large profits.

Commercialization

Commercialization happened during the enclosure movement, so now just because you had land didn’t mean you had power, to increase your power you needed to sell goods, which meant commercializing agriculture.

Mercantilism

Mercantilism is when mother countries such as spain or portugual, put down small little colonies in different areas of the world so that they can increase imports from the colonies and decrease exports from the mother country
