Characterized by the belief in equality of all people

Opposite of shifting or nomadic.

Based on kinship with the mother or female line, like the Iroquois

Period characterized by revival in arts, literature, and philosophy.
Missionary
One sent to promote their faith and convert those they meet in a new location.

A small, swift sailing ship invented by the Portuguese.

A tool invented for navigation and/or astrological problems.
