Oesophagus
The part of the digestive system that connects the throat to the stomach.

Circulatory System

An organism that eats both plants and animals, as exemplified by the fox in the food web.
Producer
An organism, typically a green plant, that synthesizes organic compounds from carbon dioxide and water through photosynthesis.
Cell Wall
The rigid layer that surrounds the cell membrane of plants, fungi, and bacteria, providing structural support.
Mass Number
The total number of protons and neutrons in an atomic nucleus.
Current (I)
The flow of electric charge, measured in Amperes (A).
Biodegradable
A term for substances that can be broken down by natural processes and microorganisms.
Abiotic Factors
Non-living environmental factors that affect living organisms, such as light intensity and temperature.
Protons
Positively charged particles found in the nucleus of an atom.
Exothermic Reaction
A chemical reaction that releases energy in the form of heat.
Inertia
The tendency of an object to remain at rest or in uniform motion unless acted upon by an external force.
Efficiency in Energy Transfer
The ratio of useful output energy to the input energy, often expressed as a percentage.
