why did the war break out?
Russia was expanding into the Dunube region which was under Turkish control. Turkey and Russia went to war in 1853 but Britain and France became involved as they were fearful of Russian expansion.

September 1855, Russia gave up , as their army was fully destroyed - there was talks of peace.

Lack of equipment - because their infrastructure was so underdeveloped they didn’t have to resources to win a war

What were the outcomes of the war ?
As part of the treaty, the Russian naval base was supposed to have been run down, to reduce Russian power in the Black Sea but it never happened. Britain and France now not storm enough to make it happen which increased tensions between them
