systematic error
an error that is consistent throughout an experiment, affects all results and all results are inaccurate
a zero error is a systematic error and occurs because faulty equipment doesnât reset to 0 properly
random error
unpredictable variations in results caused by range of uncontrollable factors (a human error is a random error)
parallax error
measurement measured from angle rather than the eye being vertically above the mark being read
