Article 3 of the Italian Constitution
Article 3 of the Italian Constitution outlines the equality of all citizens before the law, regardless of sex, race, language, religion, political opinions, or personal and social conditions.
Principle of Equality
Ensuring equal social dignity for all citizens, particularly concerning sex, religion, and political opinions, where discrimination is more frequent.
Formal Equality
All citizens must observe the law, and no privileges should exist that place individuals or groups above the law.
Substantive Equality
The Republic should actively promote substantive equality by creating conditions that enable everyone to develop their personality and realize their aspirations.
Rights Guaranteed
The rights to health, work, and education should be guaranteed to all through state interventions that offer equal opportunities, especially to the most vulnerable.

Every citizen who carries out an activity or function that contributes to the material and spiritual progress of society.
