Cigarette smoking, secondhand smoke, e-cigarettes/vaping, physical inactivity, abnormal cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, diabetes, and abdominal obesity.

Coronary Artery Disease

Damage to vessels supplying the heart; narrowing due to plaque buildup.

HDL

Good cholesterol.

LDL

Bad cholesterol.

Angina

Chest pain caused by reduced oxygen supply to the heart muscle due to narrowed coronary arteries.

Stent

A small mesh device inserted to widen a narrowed artery.

Balloon

A device inflated inside an artery to widen it, often used in angioplasty procedures.
