Biome

A large ecosystem, each bime has certain kinds of animals and plants. For example, in the dessert there are cactus and camels, both of these species have adapted to the arid climate.

Rainforest Biome

Only 2% of sunlight reach the forest floor.

The soil in the rainforest is not the best, only some jusy under the surface. The reason being is that there are so many plants which are abosrbing the nutrients, this leds to not being enough nutrients in the ground.

Buttress trees grow their roots horanzontally.

Drip-tip leaves, this leave allows the water to easily fall off to the ground as the left over water of a plant will be released from the leaves.

Dessert biome

A hot and dry (arid) climate, there is very little rainfall, if you receive less than 250mm of water a year.

Savanna Climate

It’s receives less rainfall compared to a rainforest but more than a dessert.

It usaully has yellow grass, scattered trees, and can sometimes be hot.

This Biome usaully has rainy winters, hot and dry summers with frequent, heavy, short rainfall events till autumn.
