When to do an ERPO and process?
Prepare an ERPO for ALL suicidal/homicidal statements
If the information comes from a third party, take a statement.
Conduct a Pistol License check.
If access to firearms, get a permission to search.
Prepare a Field Report, Supplementary Report, Cover Sheet and fill out ERPO log.

Level 3- forcible stop (terry stop), reasonable suspicion, detain (Terry v. Ohio). Frisk for weapons. Unable to leave.
Level 4- Probable cause. Arrest.
