Pixel
A pixel is the smallest unit of an image or display, representing a single point in a graphical image.
Resolution
Resolution refers to the number of pixels displayed per linear measurement unit, typically measured in dots per inch (dpi).
Font
A font is a set of letters, numbers, and symbols that share a similar style and look.
RGB
The RGB color model uses red, green, and blue light to create colors by combining these primary colors.
CMYK
CMYK is a color model that uses cyan, magenta, yellow, and black to produce a wide range of colors in color printing.
Bitmap
A bitmap is a collection of numeric pixel descriptions used to represent an image.
Monochrome
Monochrome displays show images in only one color, typically black or white.
Grayscale
Grayscale refers to an image that includes black, white, and various shades of gray.
Dithering
Dithering is a technique used to create the illusion of color depth in images by blending dots of different colors.
Vector Images
Vector images represent graphics in a compact way and are made up of paths defined by mathematical equations.
PostScript
PostScript is a page description language used in the electronic and desktop publishing industry.
Video Controller
A video controller communicates between a computer system and a monitor, generating video signals.
LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)
LCDs use liquid crystals between two polarizing filter panels to create an image on the screen.
Plasma Display
Plasma displays use small cells containing gas that emits light when electrically charged to generate images.
Inkjet Printer
An inkjet printer produces images by spraying small droplets of ink onto paper.
Laser Printer
A laser printer uses a laser beam to produce high-quality images by transferring toner to paper.
