5-Alpha reductase deficiency
A condition in which individuals have XY chromosomes but lack sufficient quantities of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, so they’re unable to convert testosterone into dihydrotesterone and therefore cannot masculinize their externa genitalia in utero

A technique that people with marginalized social identities can use in meetings to support each other: one person repeats what another member of their social group has said to draw attention to the contribution.

Attachment Parenting
A style of parenting in which parents focus on meeting the child’s needs on the child’s schedule.
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
A disorder characterized by problems with focusing as well as inattention, hyperactivity, excess movement, and impulsivity.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
A disorder characterized by impairments in social interaction, impaired communication, and restrictive/repetitive behaviors.
