Induced EMF (Ɛ)
The electromotive force (EMF) generated in a loop due to a changing magnetic field.
Induced Current (I)
The current induced in a loop due to a changing magnetic flux, which can be calculated using Ohm’s law (I = Ɛ/R).
Magnetic Force (F)
Force exerted on a current-carrying wire in a magnetic field, given by F = ILBsinθ, where θ is the angle between the wire and the magnetic field.
Changing Magnetic Flux
The rate of change of magnetic flux through a loop, which induces an electromotive force (EMF).
Magnetic Flux
A quantity representing the total magnetic field passing through a given area. It is proportional to the magnetic field strength and the area.
Terminal Speed
The speed at which the net force (magnetic force and gravitational force) on an object is zero when entering a magnetic field.
