Laboriously with a double cotton the girl stitched three sides of the yellow silk and was looking for something to fill it with. She wandered into her mothers bedroom to look for scraps and found many great sheets of fine paper. She tore them up into tiny pieces and stuff her case , then sewed up the fourth side.

She saw the MacDonalds living next door. They had five children and saw them playing tag in the evening. The father with baby Mao on his shulders ran round and round the flower beds with two little girls hanging on his coat. A funny feeling came over the girls as her dad tired out and fell asleep before her. He lay there helplessly with nobody to look after him too. He was harder than grandma but it was a nice hardness. She realised he was too tired to be a Mr. MacDonald. She said to her father “What a big heart you have got father dear”
