Theory of Change (ToC)
A framework for planning, monitoring, and evaluating a series of events leading to a particular outcome.
Fixed Theory
A concept that is unchanging and does not allow for adaptation or alteration.
Beneficiaries
Individuals or groups who directly receive the benefits of a project or intervention.
Outcomes
Markers of success that indicate the results of activities aimed at achieving impacts.
Impacts
Long-term systemic goals that are intended results of a program or project.
Inputs
Resources and activities that are necessary to achieve outcomes.
Outputs
Tangibles like workshop materials, training manuals, and policy briefs produced as part of a project.
Evidence
Data or information that supports the expectation that a plan or intervention will be successful.
Measurement
The process by which the results and effectiveness of an intervention are assessed.
