Linda Brown was forced to go to a school for black students when there was a white school closer. Her family sued the board of education for this. **The Supreme Court ruled that separate was not equal.**

What (Brown II):

The second decision about education segregation. **The case stated to integrate schools “with all deliberate speed,” but did not give a deadline.**
