Apathy

Extremely thin and weak from starvation.
Embarkation
The act of boarding transport, often referring to prisoners forced onto trains.
Frigid
Extremely cold conditions that prisoners were forced to endure.
Grimace
A twisted facial expression showing pain or disgust.
Hurled
Thrown violently, often showing brutality by guards.
Inert
Lacking the ability or energy to move due to exhaustion.
Loomed
Appeared in a large, threatening way.
Poignant
Deeply emotional or heartbreaking.
Semblance
A small trace or appearance of something, such as hope or humanity.
Slacken
To slow down or weaken due to exhaustion.
Stupefied
Shocked or unable to think clearly because of trauma.
Vigilance
Careful watchfulness needed for survival in the camps.
Vitality
Physical strength and energy needed to survive the camps.
