3

What is a type 1 error in non inferiority

Found new agent to be non inferior when it actually is inferior

4

If Upper bound of 95% confidence interval crosses margin….

then it is unacceptably worse

Non inferiority margin considerations

What is the non inferiority margin ?

Was it established a priori?

Is it justified as being clinicallt relevant and sensible?

New cards
9

Control

What is the control?

Has the control been proven to be efficacious vs placebo?

New cards
10

Confidence interval

Is a two sided confidence interval presented around the difference between the intervention and control and presented in relationship to the non inferiority margin

New cards
11

Analysis of the results

Is it presented for both per protocol and ITT?

New cards
12

Conclusion

Does it reference the non inferiority margin?
