Summarize Plessy v Ferguson. Then mention how its verdict affected America
Homer Plessy, a 1/8 % black, was forced to leave a whites only car to move to a colored car. He wanted to stop segregation but the action did not abide the 14th amendment.
This would eventually lead to the national approval for segregation and create the Jim Crow Laws

Her friends store had a fight/uprising riot from neighboring white store owners, they fought back and lynched her friends. She soon opened the minds of people about the truth of lynching
How could our America have been different if the eugenics movement during this time had had more of a following?
aimed to improve genetics / so called science of human breeding
Deficient social policies, public health, and individual rights
Population would be lower, more segregation, an attempt of wiping out a whole race, similar to Hitler’s Nuremberg Laws in Germany

terrible fire that burned on the 7th floor of a building, firefighters were only able to reach the 5th
This caused buildings to have a sprinkler system and fire drills
Also provided new technology for firefighters: new truck designs that could go up many floors for the city buildings
