What is globalization?
the process by which businesses or other organizations develop international influence or start operating on an international scale
Limited Government
a system where the government's powers are restricted by law, typically a constitution, to protect individual rights
economics
the social science that studies how individuals, businesses, and governments make choices to allocate scarce resources to satisfy their wants and needs
Seperation of power
a system of government where a country's legislative, executive, and judicial branches have distinct responsibilities to prevent any single branch from becoming too powerful
Forms of government
the systems and structures for how a community is ruled, defined by how power and authority are distributed
Democracy
system of government where power is vested in the people, who can rule directly or elect officials to represent them.
Natural rights
universal, inalienable rights that individuals are believed to possess simply by being human, and are not granted by governments or laws.
Market Economics
Market economics is an economic system in which the decisions regarding production, investment, and distribution of goods and services are guided by the price signals created by the forces of supply and demand
Social Contract
an implicit agreement among individuals and their government, where citizens surrender certain rights in exchange for protection and social order

Absolute Monarchy
a form of government where a single monarch, like a king or queen, holds supreme and unrestricted power, often justified by divine right
Parliament
legislature, or law-making body, that exists in many countries. Its main functions include representing the electorate, passing and amending laws, and overseeing the executive government
