Coordinate Planes
Planes in 3D space defined by two of three coordinate axes; Used to define location & orientation of objects in 3D space.
World Orientation
Global Coordinate system that defines overall orientation of 3D space; Used for aligning & positioning objects in the scene; X,Y, & Z axes remain constant for all objects
Object Orientation
Local coordinates systems specific to each 3D object; Movement, Rotation, & scaling are based on object orientation; X,Y, & Z axes relative to object itself
Absolute Scale
Fixed size of an object measured in absolute units
Relative Scale
SIze of an object in relation to another object or the project scale; Used in maintaining proportionality & relative sizing within a scene
