Respiratory infection - measles - Rubella - Malaria - Meningoencephalitis
Def of Dengue, the patient must present wih
acute febrill ilness + 2 or > of the following
Headache
retro-orbital pain
Myalgia
Arthralgia
Rash
Hemorrhagic manifestations
Leukopenia
Criteria for diagnosis of dengue
All the following must be present:
Fever
hemorrhagic tendecies:
Thrombocytopenia
Evidence of plasma leak
Ig in dengue infection
1ry infection: high IgM in acute phase, later IgG
2dry infection: high IgG, small rise in IgM
