Current (I)
The amount of charge that can pass through a cross sectional area. Measured in amperes (A).
Electric Circuit
A closed loop that allows electric current to flow, consisting of a source of voltage, and resistance.
Resistance
The opposition to the flow of electric current in a circuit, measured in ohms (Ω).
Ohm’s Law
V=IR.
Power
The rate at which electrical energy is transferred by an electric circuit, measured in watts (W). P = IV
Kirchoffs’s Loop Rule
The total sum of voltage differences within a circuit must equal 0.
Kirchoff’’s Junction Rule
The total charge leaving a junction must equal the charge entering.
