think about Macbeth and lady macbeth’s transformations throughout this play, how do they act and feel before the murder of Duncan, immediately after and then later in the play?
before the murder of Duncan, lady Macbeth really wanted to kill Duncan but Macbeth didn't and it took a lot of convincing to get him to do it. Immediately after Macbeth was in shock and scared of all of the blood on his hands whereas lady Macbeth told Macbeth to suck it up and wash his hands before he goes crazy. she also mentions that she couldn't kill Duncan bc he looked too much like her father. later in the play they both began to feel regret and remorse and couldn’t sleep or pray
