camera shots are used to demonstrate different aspects of the setting, themes and charaxters.
Establishing shot

Establishing shots contains a large amount of landscape.
Used at a beginning of a film to establish a general location/ setting.
Full shot

Full shot contains a complete view of the characters.
Used to let viewers take in the costumes of the characters and help to demonstrate the relationship between characters.
Mid shot

Mid-shot contains the character from the waist up.
Viewers can see the characters' faces more clearly as well as their interaction with other characters.
Close uo
