A monosaccharide found in fruits, sharing the same chemical formula as glucose but differing in arrangement.

Sucrose

A disaccharide composed of glucose and fructose, commonly known as table sugar.

Biofuels

Alternative fuels derived from biological materials, including those made from sugars.

Ethanol

A type of biofuel produced from fermenting sugars, notably derived from corn.
